Arguably the largest annual display of historic and classic cars, trucks and motor cycles, tractors, stationary engines and machinery, and steam machinery in South Australia. Power of the Past features tractor driving competitions, sheep shearing, grand parades of tractors and vehicles and children? Exhibits will include valiant vehicles, old engines and machinery, Birmingham Small Arms Motor Cycles, Ransomes Tractors and trade and general stalls.

The annual after Christmas run is always a very popular event and the one on Wednesday 28th December was no exception with well over 50 people turning up for coffee at the Crafers Inn before heading off to Middleton Tavern for lunch. Thanks to all those who attended and I trust you all had a good run, in what can only be described as perfect weather conditions for a drive. This year we are also starting earlier, meeting at 7. Bring a picnic lunch or support the local CFS and purchase lunch from the venue.

The CHVRS is before State Cabinet for approval and was expected to be approved by March this year, it is not known if the last minute request for comments will further delay the implementation. In the mean time, until we receive and further advice we will be operating the scheme as we have in recent years, and the only changes we are currently aware of awaiting Parliamentary approval are: If you own a vehicle manufactured between and and has been approved for the scheme then these vehicles will remain in the scheme.
